Summary of Case:

Floresville, Tx (September 3, 2024): Season of Justice announces a new cold case billboard campaign located along 10th Street near the Eagle Ford Inn in Floresville, Tx. The year long billboard campaign aims to highlight the 2010 disappearance of Pauline Diaz. This billboard is part of a continued effort spearheaded by Pauline’s daughters and local advocacy organization, Search and Support San Antonio, to reach those with information about what happened to Pauline leading up to her disappearance.

On December 7, 2010, 63-year-old Pauline Diaz left her shift at work around 2 pm and is seen on surveillance camera talking to an unknown woman before getting in her truck and leaving. It would be the last time Pauline was seen or heard from again.

At the time of her disappearance, Pauline was a beloved grandmother working as a tortilla maker at H-E-B, a local grocery store. She was in the middle of separating from her husband and had already moved out of their shared home. It’s believed that Pauline left from the south side San Antonio H-E-B and drove to the home she used to share with her now-estranged husband to pick up a lawn mower, 30 miles south near Floresville, TX. A few days after her disappearance, Pauline’s white 2010 Toyota Tacoma and several personal items, including her purse were recovered near CR 320 and HWY 181 in Wilson County, roughly 8 miles north of Floresville. A lack of leads and evidence beyond the surveillance video stalled the investigation almost as quickly as it began. Nearly 14 years later, Pauline’s children are still searching for answers, and their mother.

Season of Justice is honored to support Pauline’s family and dedicated team of advocates by sponsoring this billboard, which will remain up until September 3, 2025. We hope this billboard serves as a reminder to the public that Pauline’s children are still waiting for answers, and even the smallest piece of information may be crucial in finally getting the justice Pauline deserves.

If you have any information about the disappearance of Pauline Diaz or the individual(s) responsible, please call the Bexar Co. Sheriff’s Office at 210-335-6070 or Search and Support San Antonio at (210) 338-0027 to leave a confidential tip.
