Bulverde, TX (December 9, 2024): Season of Justice announces a new cold case billboard campaign located along Hwy 46, approx. 5 miles north of 281. The billboard, which will be up until July 2025, highlights the unsolved disappearance of Amalia “Molly” Garza, who hasn’t been heard from since March 1, 2018. This billboard is part of a continued effort spearheaded by Amalia’s mother to keep her case in the spotlight in hopes new information will lead to definitive answers about Amalia’s whereabouts and what happened to her.

Amalia “Molly” Garza was a 39 year old mother from San Antonio, TX. On March 1, 2018, Amalia called her mother to let her she was heading to a party with her boyfriend, Steven Rendon and promised she would call the next day, but no call ever came. While there were some leads early on, San Antonio Police Department is still looking for answers. At the time of her disappearance, Amalia was living with her boyfriend who had a history of abuse. In 2020, two years after Amalia’s disappearance, her boyfriend was arrested for aggravated assault and kidnapping of another woman that he held for 2 weeks in the same home he previously shared with Amalia. He is currently in prison and has never been charged or named as a suspect in Amalia’s disappearance. Amalia was last seen in the 1300 block of Melissa Sue, near Culebra Road wearing jeans and a t-shirt. She is 5’4″, 115 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Season of Justice is honored to support Amalia’s family and dedicated team of advocates by sponsoring this billboard, which will remain up through July 2025. We hope this billboard serves as a reminder to the public that Amalia’s family is still waiting for answers, and even the smallest piece of information may be crucial in finally getting the justice she deserves.
